Lovely ring that I got at Fairey Godmother's. Dosn't it look like a blue topaz?
Aren't these mitts divine? So Lolita-I LOVE them!
I am dying for this romper. $80 from Topshop-not too bad. But still, $80? I most certainly can not afford it. =/
Wearing a vintage romper, belt, and bow, with Steve Madden shoes.
Friday was the day I discovered the first rose of summer. I put it in a green vase on my vanity, where it sits in the sun, tinged with brown.
Friday morning, I went to a rummage sale. There really wasn't much there, and the only things I'm keeping for myself are a few clutches and a lovely gold chain necklace. We did stop by several yard sales, though, where I got a very earthy-looking woven breakfast tray, and a pink depression glass cake plate. Saturday, we went to the yardsale on Post. Once again, I didn't get a lot, but what I did get was wonderful! A lovely, cropped black leather jacket with exposed silver zippers (I can't tell you how long I've been looking for one of those! I wore it on Sunday with a full, cupcake of a skirt and it looked divine!) a gold pendant necklace with solid perfume inside, and the video, Merlin. Admitadly, it's kind of cheesy, but the costumes are great and its nice how all the girls in it are really beautiful. So many actresses today aren't that pretty. Anyway, over the weekend I got together with Pansiberrie, C, M, and K were all away at a retreat for our youth group. I, of course, wanted to go to the yardsale. I'd give up a youth group retreat any day for a good yardsale. =)
Oh, just to let everyone know, I'll be out of town this weekend for an AP party (I should be back Sunday afternoon) and then I'll leave on Wednesday for California for three weeks. After that, about a week later, I'll be gone for a week at a Family Conference. Hopefully, I'll be able to blog in between vacations! I'll miss everyone here on blogland!
Mwah! Mwah!
